July 18th we hit the CatHouse Loungerie inside the Luxor Casino for a Rock N Roll Wine party. As always there was plent of wine flowing and great music on the stage. The CatHouse is a pretty small venue, yet still big enough for all of us wine drinkers.
Good times were had by all and I look forward to the next wine event on August 15th. Details to follow.

On Saturday, June 28th, we headed over to the Thomas and Mack for it’s 25th anniversary celebration featuring a concert with legendary bands; Styx and Boston.
I have seen Styx so many time over the last decade that I wasn’t sure if they could maintain their legendary status after all these years, but they came out on stage and ROCKED THE MACK! The sound quality was phenomenal and the energy was off the charts. Hit after hit and the crowd was loving it.
Once Styx ended their set, I mentioned that Boston had some serious big shoes to fill after that incredible Styx performance. Boston hasn’t toured quite as often as Styx, so it has been a while since I last saw them live and with a new singer to boot. But when they got things going, they rocked the stage as well. I think Boston is more of an instrumental sounding band as opposed to Styx that seems more vocalized. Therefore the performance was slightly different, but top notch for sure.
Overall I would give the edge to Styx on overall performance if I had to choose a winner between the two bands. Luckily it wasn’t a competition and I didn’t have to choose just one band to see, we got two great performances in one night on one stage and I would go again next week if I could.
See ya at th next show!!

We rocked TAO Beach last Saturday with yet another festive Rock-N-Roll Wine party.
Here is a picture of my buddy John, myself and Mitchell (from the Rodney Strong Vineyards) as we are set to pour 96 bottles of wine in 3 hours time.

You can see all the pictures by visiting http://rnrwine.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=2.
Be sure to look for us at the next event in July. It will be worth it!

I just wanted to give a shout out and mention how great the Stone Temple Pilots concert was Saturday night.
STP played at the Pearl inside the Palms Casino both Thursday ad Saturday, June 12th and 14th. I managed to make it to Saturday’s show and had some great box seats. This was my first time seeing STP live and can say that the performance was outstanding.
The Pearl is one of the BEST venues in Las Vegas. I have seen so many concerts there and prefer this venue to all others in Vegas.
